How a project with us works.
From the first conversation to years of operation — six steps that follow the same order: understand, decide, prove, build, harden, operate.
- 01
The first conversation
Not a sales call, but a technical conversation with our management. We listen, understand the problem and tell you honestly whether we can take responsibility for it. Where we don't believe we can, we say so.
- 02
Analysis
Before we build, we understand. We frame the actual problem, model the domain and uncover the unspoken requirements instead of discovering them in production. The most expensive mistake is a well-built solution to the wrong problem.
- 03
Architecture
The load-bearing decisions come first — made deliberately and documented while change is still cheap. We choose reversibility over prediction, and we write down the why so that someone still understands it in five years.
- 04
Implementation
We prove the hardest path first, end to end, before building out the breadth. Then we build in small, reversible steps, with tests where failures are expensive and observability from day one.
- 05
Operations
Software doesn't end at launch. We design for failure and rehearse it before production does. We deploy without downtime, monitor what we've built and stay with the system.
- 06
Long-term partnership
Accountability matters more than speed. Over the years we evolve the system safely — and hand over the project-specific source code, the documentation and the knowledge behind it, so that you stay technically independent. Including from us.
These steps follow our Engineering Method — seven modes from framing to operations. Not a project process, but the way we think.
