History

Batunet since 2015.

Batunet was founded in 2015. This timeline shows the projects that illustrate our work — and what hasn’t changed in the way we work since then.

  1. 2015

Founded, and a first long-term platform.

Batunet is founded to build complex web applications from the first architecture decision through to operations — for companies in the DACH region. In the same year, we take over development and support of the Dondino cashback platform.

  2. 2017

Two systems we have developed ever since.

We take over B&R Chiptuning’s file service portal and a commercial SEO platform. We move the portal onto a new Laravel foundation; over the years, the SEO platform gains a newly built crawler, reporting and AI features.

  3. 2021

New builds for construction and e-mobility.

For the construction company Anademir, we build web-based business software for quotes, projects, materials and billing; for Beyond Move, a public e-mobility marketplace with a Laravel API and a Nuxt frontend.

  4. 2022

Web components in the American Express context.

From December 2022, within a project chain, we build interactive web components and their management for the German-language guide section of American Express. The target pages themselves were not built by Batunet.

  5. From the start

    An approach that hasn't changed.

Understand, decide, build — in that order. Reversibility over prediction, mature technology over fashion, every recommendation with its price. What our project flow and our principles describe today has been the way we've worked from the very beginning.

  6. The foundation

    Technology chosen for longevity.

PHP with Laravel and Symfony on the backend, typed frontends with React, Vue, Next.js and TypeScript, PostgreSQL as a reliable data layer. Mature, well-maintained technology with known limits — not the newest, but the kind someone will still understand in five years.

  7. Today

Experience, open for anyone to read.

Our project work has produced a body of articles: guides, perspectives, architecture decisions and playbooks that show how we approach typical questions.
